The Human Mortar by MarkBulahao The Human Mortar by MarkBulahao
In case your wondering how does it reload - someone needs to do it for him. Basically he's more of a weapon used by armies rather than an independent creature.

I need some ideas for its name. Human mortar seems too cheesy.

A lot of your 'monsters' remind me of Silent Hill, twisted image of human in nightmares.

Whoa. That looks so cool. It's like something you would see from Silent Hill!

It looks like one of the tortured big daddies that when you see them for the first time the sad bioshock music plays.

i made my own version of a "human mortar" i need to upload it soon maybe tomorrow but your is awesome i luv the boldness of your lines and ur excelent shading the only thing i don't really like is the lack of machine combining with his back idk if it is just me but i like stuff melded into the creature as much as possible or piercied through it [link] example its just straight through because the makers of it are to lazy :D
but still very nice

shouldn't he have something flatter / less mobile than wheels for the firing position? fine for transport but perhaps he needs chocks :)

Haven't thought of chock so maybe some internal mechanism could lock the wheels if it's on firing mode. Thanks for the feedback.

very cool, giger would be proud. i think you should call him 'howitzer', may not be appropriate for the weapon, but it sounds cool

That's great. I can't think why that would happen but who cares?

The only comment I might make is that the rocket part looks a bit less chunky than the rest.

How about calling it Howitser? Or even Howlitser?

Torso gun? Torso mortar? Torsion mortar?

Like the computer in Alien, I'm still working on it.

Body mortar?

Assuming that it's brain dead, then it's more of a body than a human.

I like him, he's creepy.

How about you name him "The Human Mortar" That's a little less cheesy :P

Or something along like lines of "Morty"

Or am I being too sarcastic here?

I like Morty. :P

That's the point. Lazy, greasy, old, and angry. Usually Bald.. Easy to annoy, and will paddle you if you mention 'Nam, with any reference to being there :P

I really like this one. You have a lot of great ideas and some nice shapes and textures. I think where you are lacking is in your anatomy. The torso is not bad, but the arms look "made up". My advice would be to get some anatomy books or look at real life and draw from that. The elbow and tricep and forearm dont really hook-up like that. Its ok to exaggerate but you have to get it correct first ;) hope that helps.

Absolutely fascinating. Almost Lovecraftian. The valve gives off Steampunk. I adore Steampunk. And I adore Lovecraft. This wonder reminds me of both. Therefore I adore it.

Yoho, well I don't want to put a genre on your work, that limits it.
In essence it's all eerily alluring.
Lovecraftian art is what I aspire to create.

It kinda reminds me of Pinky, from the movie make of Doom...Yeah, I know, the only reason I know that is because that movie makes me do the roflcopter every time I see it and it was just on tv the other day. Yay tacky gore!

Also, this is awesome.

Looks frightening. But most of all I like the way you draw. Having just arms and wheels as a fulcrum, all composition is amazingly steady. Lines are very confident. Your skills are amazing
