I decided to use slightly subdued colors. I felt like I needed a break from all the saturated colors and eye-searing highlights. I think this one's a bit easier on the eyes.

Hey man, I really liked the picture, and when I read the description I thought to my self, Hmmmm what would it look like with more exaggerated colors? So, I set myself to work trying to make that happen; and honestly, am very pleased with the results xD

I think it looks nice! :) Actually looking back at it now I would've went for more saturated colors. The original looks too gray lol.

I really love this piece, you just don't see many big epic battle scenes like this cause it takes a lot of patience to make.

I really like it the way it is and for some reason, I really can't explain why I think saturating the colors would have been a disservice to it. Maybe it's because it's war and war should be a little gray and bleak feeling, especially a scene styled after the battles WWI.

im loving the colours and depth, and how the fog of war blurs the soldiers in the distance. you can just hear the shells whistling down and the shout goes up from the soldiers in the charge
